Your mission

As Senior Specialist Logistics & Operations, you will play a key role in shaping and optimizing our end-to-end supply chain and operational setup in Italy. You will drive efficiency across logistics, order-to-cash processes, and administrative functions while building strong local structures. Working closely with headquarters and cross-functional teams, you will ensure reliable operations, excellent service levels, and continuous improvement to support sustainable business growth.

 
Your tasks

  • Lead the setup and optimization of a 3PL warehouse, including SAP integration
  • Oversee end-to-end logistics operations (inbound, warehousing, distribution, transportation)
  • Monitor and improve logistics partner performance using KPIs and SLAs
  • Align demand planning with Sales and coordinate forecasting with Headquarters
  • Manage procurement planning in collaboration with central Supply Planning
  • Ensure efficient inventory management and optimal stock levels
  • Oversee order processing in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery commitments
  • Act as a key contact for operational issues, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, documentation standards, and safety requirements
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and identify process improvement opportunities 

Your profile

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced qualifications are a plus
  • Extensive experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain management, including leadership responsibility
  • Experience managing warehouses, logistics networks, and operational processes
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office tools
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across functions and partners
  • Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus
