Your mission
As Key Account Manager Italy, you will build and grow meaningful partnerships with our most strategic customers in the drugstore and modern trade sectors. By understanding client needs and translating them into tailored, value-driven solutions, you will help shape long-term success for both our customers and our business. Your work will directly contribute to sustainable growth, strong collaboration, and customer satisfaction in a dynamic and competitive market.
Your tasks
- Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with key accounts, acting as a primary point of contact
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve growth and revenue goals
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing partnerships
- Lead contract negotiations, proposals, and agreements in a collaborative and solution-oriented way
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., sales support, logistics, marketing, finance) to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Monitor account performance using relevant KPIs and share insights with stakeholders
- Address client needs and challenges in a timely and effective manner
- Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and customer developments
- Contribute to forecasting, demand planning, and inventory alignment
Your profile
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in account management, sales, or business development with key accounts in drugstore and/or modern trade environments
- Demonstrated ability to grow customer relationships and drive business results
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Well-organized, proactive, and able to manage priorities effectively
- Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus
