Your Mission

To oversee all people-related operations for our two UK subsidiaries, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on HR specialist. Strong judgment, credibility with senior leaders, and in-depth understanding of UK employment law + social security & pension schemes are necessary for this position. 
Working closely with Group HR at the German headquarters to guarantee compliance with international HR frameworks and reporting requirements, you will serve as a reliable advisor to our UK leadership teams. This HR role requires ownership of the full UK HR agenda from operational delivery to strategic input.

 
Key Responsibilities 

  • Act as a trusted HR partner to senior leadership across the UK entities
  • Provide pragmatic, business-focused HR support throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Align local UK HR practices with Group policies and global HR frameworks
  • Support organisational design, workforce and succession planning, and people risk management
  • Advise managers on employee matters, including restructures and change initiatives
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, contracts, and probation processes
  • Manage employee relations including performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance matters
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law, company policies, and best practice
  • Maintain accurate HR data, reporting, payroll coordination, and benefits administration
  • Serve as the UK HR interface to the Global People & Culture team
  • Participate in senior management meetings and support selected corporate governance activities
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and professional working environment

Qualifications & Experience

  • Foundation qualification in Human Resources or Business Administration, with the ambition to grow into a broad HR generalist role
  • Several years of UK-based HR generalist experience, ideally within an FMCG environment
  • Strong experience across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, payroll coordination, performance management, policies, and benefits
  • Confident working with senior leaders and handling sensitive matters independently
  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations
  • Experience developing and implementing local HR policies
  • Data-driven, well-organised, and performance-oriented working style
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP and/or Workday is a plus
  • Able to work autonomously and take full ownership of the UK HR function
